The 2009-2010 classes are learning lots and having lots of fun!
In February, the students went on a field trip to learn more about their community. The first stop was the Fire Department. The antique fire engine was a big hit!
The next stop was the Police Station.
The last stop was the Cape Fox Lodge for hot chocolate and cookies. Another big hit with the kids!
Later in February the classes visited the Whitman Lake Hatchery to learn more about salmon, and to pick up the eggs for the class aquarium.
The students have been learning about the human body, and different animals as well. Here a student shows an animal skull at the Celebration of Learning.
